Sahuarita has grown up around Rancho Sahuarita and the pecan groves along the Santa Cruz, and young families and retirees alike have brought their pets with them. When it's time to say goodbye, we make the drive down I-19 so your pet doesn't have to make any drive at all.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
That is the whole price. There is no travel fee, and nothing extra for evenings, weekends, holidays, or a bigger dog.
Some providers start with a base fee and add to it by weight, distance, or time of day. We'd rather you know the whole cost before you call. What you see above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Someone is available to talk from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. We do our best to fit in same-day requests, and if we can't come when you need us, we'll tell you honestly.
We give a two-hour arrival window, one hour either side of your appointment time, so we can arrive unhurried. And if you just want to talk things through before deciding anything, call us. There's no charge for that conversation.
Sahuarita is south of Tucson along I-19, and we plan our day around the drive so we're not rushing to reach you. Some communities, like Quail Creek, have gated entries, and many Rancho Sahuarita neighborhoods have their own access rules, so tell us your community and how to get in when you book. If you're out near the orchards or on a brand-new street, a dropped pin from your phone helps.
We come to homes throughout Sahuarita, including Rancho Sahuarita, Quail Creek, the Sahuarita Lake area, and the neighborhoods off Duval Mine Road and Pima Mine Road. The list is just a sample. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you whether we can reach you.
A Luna veterinarian comes to your home for every appointment. Our veterinarians chose this work on purpose: gentle, in-home euthanasia is what they do, not something squeezed in between clinic appointments.
Nobody is on a stopwatch. The visit takes as long as you need it to.
The visit starts with a conversation, not a procedure. The veterinarian will want to hear about your pet and will walk you through each step in order. Your pet can rest wherever they're most at ease: in your arms, on their own bed, or out on the patio.
First comes a sedative with strong pain relief. Within five to fifteen minutes your pet is deeply asleep and comfortable. The final injection is given only when you tell us you're ready, and the passing is peaceful.
Before we leave, we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur as keepsakes, and you'll have time alone with your pet.
We take care of everything after the visit. Your pet leaves your home with us, snuggled in a clean blanket, and we handle the cremation from there. With individual cremation, your pet's ashes come back to you, and we'll tell you when they're ready. With communal cremation, your pet is cremated alongside other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If you're reading this because your pet has already died at home, we can still come. Body care means we travel to your home in Sahuarita, take your pet into our care gently, and handle everything that follows, at $455 with communal cremation or $590 if you'd like the ashes back. Call or text 520-600-0339.
We do our best to come the same day or the next. Calling early in the day gives us the most room to plan the drive.
The community name and the gate code or guard instructions when you book. If we need to be on a visitor list, we'll give you the names to add.
No. There's no travel fee anywhere in our service area, and no added charge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger pets.
