Corona de Tucson sits southeast of the city, where newer neighborhoods meet older ranch lots and the Santa Ritas fill the view to the south. It's a long way from most vet clinics, which is exactly why we come to you: your pet can stay home, and so can you.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
Corona de Tucson is inside our service area, so there's no travel fee, and no added charge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger pets.
Some providers start with a base fee and add to it by weight, distance, or time of day. We'd rather you know the whole cost before you call. What you see above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day of the week. Same-day visits are sometimes possible, and calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance.
When you book, we'll give you a two-hour arrival window, an hour on either side of your appointment time. If you're not ready to book and just need to ask questions, that's fine too. There's no charge and no pressure.
Corona de Tucson is out along Sahuarita Road, Houghton Road and Wentworth Road, and some homes sit on large lots off unpaved roads. Give us directions and any gate details when you book, or send a dropped pin, and we'll build the drive into your arrival window.
We come to homes throughout Corona de Tucson, including the newer subdivisions along Sahuarita and Wentworth Roads and the ranch properties around them. The list is just a sample. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you whether we can reach you.
The veterinarian who comes to you does this work by choice. In-home euthanasia isn't a side service for us; it's the whole practice.
There's no schedule pressing on your visit. We stay as long as you need.
We sit down with you first. We'll ask about your pet, explain what is about to happen, and answer anything you want to ask. You choose where your pet rests: their bed, your lap, the couch, a favorite spot in the yard.
When you're ready, your pet receives a sedative that includes strong pain medication. Over five to fifteen minutes they relax completely and fall deeply asleep. Only when you say so does the veterinarian give the final injection. It is quiet, and it is quick.
Afterward we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur for you to keep, and we give you time alone.
After the visit, we gently take your pet into our care and handle the cremation, so there is nothing more for you to arrange. Choosing individual cremation means your pet's ashes are returned to you, and we'll let you know when they're ready. Choosing communal cremation means your pet is cremated with other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If you're reading this because your pet has already died at home, we can still come. Body care means we travel to your home in Corona de Tucson, take your pet into our care gently, and handle everything that follows, at $455 with communal cremation or $590 if you'd like the ashes back. Call or text 520-600-0339.
We aim for the same day or the next. Because it's a longer drive for us, an early call helps.
Not at all. Send a dropped pin or directions from the nearest paved road, and let us know about gates or dogs loose on the property. We'll call if we need help on the way.
No. The price is $405 anywhere in our service area, with nothing extra for the drive, evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger pets.
