Catalina is a small, rural community north of Oro Valley, where Oracle Road starts to open up and homes sit on big lots with room for horses, dogs, and a lot of sky. We come to you, so your pet can stay home, on ground they know, for their last hour.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
One flat price, whatever the day, the hour, or the size of your pet. No mileage, no surcharges.
A lot of in-home providers charge more for a larger pet, more for the drive, and more after hours. We keep it simple: the figure above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day of the week. Same-day visits are sometimes possible, and calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance.
When you book, we'll give you a two-hour arrival window, an hour on either side of your appointment time. If you're not ready to book and just need to ask questions, that's fine too. There's no charge and no pressure.
Homes in Catalina are often set back on large lots off Oracle Road, Golder Ranch Road and the streets around Lago del Oro Parkway, and some are on unpaved roads without much lighting. Tell us about any gate and what to look for when you book, or send a dropped pin. If animals roam loose on the property, let us know so we can come in carefully.
We come to homes throughout Catalina, including the properties along Oracle Road, the Golder Ranch Road area, and the neighborhoods off Lago del Oro Parkway. That's a sample, not a boundary. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you whether we can reach you.
A Luna veterinarian comes to your home for every appointment. Our veterinarians chose this work on purpose: gentle, in-home euthanasia is what they do, not something squeezed in between clinic appointments.
Nobody is on a stopwatch. The visit takes as long as you need it to.
The visit starts with a conversation, not a procedure. The veterinarian will want to hear about your pet and will walk you through each step in order. Your pet can rest wherever they're most at ease: in your arms, on their own bed, or out on the porch.
First comes a sedative with strong pain relief. Within five to fifteen minutes your pet is deeply asleep and comfortable. The final injection is given only when you tell us you're ready, and the passing is peaceful.
Before we leave, we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur as keepsakes, and you'll have time alone with your pet.
After the visit, we gently take your pet into our care and handle the cremation, so there is nothing more for you to arrange. Choosing individual cremation means your pet's ashes are returned to you, and we'll let you know when they're ready. Choosing communal cremation means your pet is cremated with other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If you're reading this because your pet has already died at home, we can still come. Body care means we travel to your home in Catalina, take your pet into our care gently, and handle everything that follows, at $455 with communal cremation or $590 if you'd like the ashes back. Call or text 520-600-0339.
We do our best to come the same day or the next. Because it's farther out for us, calling earlier in the day helps.
Directions from the main road, any gate code, and a landmark or two. A dropped pin from your phone is even better. We'll call if we're unsure on the way.
No. The price is $405 anywhere in our service area, with nothing added for the drive, evenings, weekends, holidays, or a larger pet.
